Store Opening
Our free store re-opened for our eleventh year on August 4th. In August alone, we distributed an unprecedented $2.2 million in supplies to teachers for area classrooms in need, all free of charge!

Noteworthy
In October 2008, Crayons to Computers was named the 2008 overall ONE Award winner. Sponsored by the Greater Cincinnati Foundation and the Carol Ann and Ralph V. Haile, Jr./U.S. Bank Foundation, the ONE Award (Organizations of Noteworthy Excellence) is designed as an organizational improvement process. It recognizes best practices among non-profit organizations in Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky.

The award combines an organizational application/self assessment utilizing proven criteria for excellence with independent, outside feedback in key impact areas. ONE Award criteria are adapted from the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award Criteria for Performance Excellence.
