C2C is the model for 30 other teachers' free stores nationally.

Crayons to Computers is a member of the Kids in Need Foundation Network, established in 1995 to assist schools and to help needy children. 

Manufacturers and distributors regularly donate surplus merchandise to the Kids in Need Centers.  Since 1995, the Foundation has distributed more than $200 million worth of school supplies.

There are also 18 other independent teacher's free stores that are loosely associated with the Kids in Need Foundation. Kids in Need conducts an annual summit conference for all the resource centers to exchange ideas, discuss strategies, and share best practices.
