Our Collaborations

Our “Crafts with Conviction” program (CwC) in 14 prisons and 6 juvenile facilities is C2C’s largest product donor. Since 1998, inmates have produced over $7.3 million worth of school supplies from truckloads of donated poster board, paper, wood, fabric, and other items.

4C and “Success by Six” help us develop appropriate preschool materials to better prepare students for kindergarten.

Employees at The Ohio National Financial Group started our “Keep Our Kids Warm” knitting campaign, collecting yarn donations for local senior citizen groups to knit into hats, scarves, and mittens for our neediest students.

Providing technology to schools

Volunteers refurbish our donated computers and provide C2C with a steady supply of operable PC's.

Matthew 25: Ministries gave us 50,000 pencils in December 1996 before C2C opened its doors. Since then we continue to trade product with M25M, and until June, 2004, shared warehouse space.

C2C has provided Sycamore Community Schools’ Work Study Program a practice enclave where special needs students work side by side to learn life skills.

C2C volunteers work at Scholastic Book Fairs, Inc. warehouse sales twice a year in exchange for vouchers to earn thousands of dollars worth of books and merchandise for our store.

C2C collaborates with educational leaders from our eligible schools to coordinate materials which meet curriculum and assessment goals.

We shared the same building with the FS/FB for the first seven years of our existence. They provided us with much needed services such as accounting, transportation, material handling, and waste disposal. We continue to exchange product and use their trucks for pick-ups.

"In the last 15 years, I have had the privilege of working with hundreds of “helping” organizations internationally and here at home.  None compare to the quality, dedication, passion, creativity and effectiveness of C2C.  C2C has definitely raised the bar for all not-for profits.”
