CHILD POVERTY IN CINCINNATI

The Child Poverty Collaborative was formed and announced in October 2015 by Cincinnati Mayor John Cranley in his State of the City address. The broad-based community effort, which is funded
by private donors, aims to lift 5,000 families and 10,000 children out of poverty in five years.

NEW SUPPLIES

Indian Hill students are showing how algebra can put crayons in the hands of area children. High-school students in the Math Service Club worked with Crayons to Computers during the 2015–16 school year to help solve a supply-and-demand dilemma. The Math Service Club stepped up to the plate with a solution.
